Garnet's Story is book 1.5 in the Lone City series. The book is in the point of view of Garnet, the son of The Duchess of the Lake. You get a whole new viewpoint and story as to what happened in The Jewel and The White Rose.

Synopsis from Goodreads:

"In The Jewel and The White Rose, we follow Violet in her servitude under the Duchess of the Lake. Now we’ll hear the Duchess’s son, Garnet’s, story in this digital novella—a companion story to the New York Times bestselling Lone City trilogy. Garnet, the son of the Duchess of the Lake, has always been a spoiled playboy. But now, for the first time, Garnet is beginning to realize the horrors that his family, and the ruling community, have perpetrated. And he just may be ready to do something about it. "

My Review

Garnet's Story

5/5 Stars

I really enjoyed reading about one of my favorite books The Jewel, in Garnet's perspective. It gave you a whole new look on The Jewel. It also gives you some new details about Garnet and The Black Key. This book is full of action, mystery, and key information for when you read The Black Key. If you loved The Jewel and The White Rose you really need to read this book. Plus it's only $1.99 as a ebook.
